About the Artist
Adrienne Jacopi Gualco is an award winning
artist who has
specialized in commissioned equine portraits for over twenty years. She
holds a B.A. cum laude from University of the Pacific, a secondary
teaching credential and did post graduate work in advertising design.
Her equine art is collected by owners, trainers, jockeys, breeding
farms, and race tracks throughout the United States, Canada and Japan.
Her work has been featured in such magazines as "Western
Horseman", "California Horse Review", and the
"Independent Journal" newspaper. It has appeared on the cover
of "Northern California Thoroughbred" and was included in the
Bay Meadows Race Track Calendar. Design work includes a series of note
cards depicting carousel horses for Bentley House and a mural for a race
and sportsbook room in a Nevada casino.
She works in all media and awards include an
honorable mention in the American Academy of Equine Art Equifest Art
Show in Lexington, Kentucky and an Award for Special Excellence in the
Harness Tracks of America Art Show and Auction at The Red Mile Race Track
in Lexington, Kentucky.
